I love to look up into the summer skies late at night.  On a clear night, the Beatles’ song, “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”, can be both seen and heard.  How marvelous is God’s creative genius to have established such a stellar universe.

Perhaps the cosmic pool from which we are drawn is what Emerson invites in his poignant line…”The Universe is the externalization of the soul”.  Our “soulness” is forever intrinsically linked with our Creator’s magnificent portrait, “The Universe”.  We are both drawn from it and returned to it--a wondrous gift of Creative grace.
