CHANGE 4 CHANGE
Fellowship Hours Sponsorship For $100 a member or guest can purchase food for our refreshment hour on the First Sunday of the Month. Donation cans are placed out during the refreshments and all donations are then given to the donor’s choice organization. Donors have sent funds to American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Association, Troops Overseas, The American Red Cross, and more.
HUNGER AWARERNESS MINISTRY
Food Baskets: Throughout the year and especially at Holidays our faith community donates food for families who are in need. Non-perishable items are always being collected. Bring this list of items when you shop:
JELLO, PUDDING, NOODLES, TOMOTO SAUCE, CANNED SOUPS, VEGGIES, FRUIT, BOXED DINNERS, CEREAL, TOILET PAPER, DISH SOAP, LAUNDRY SOAP, TUNA, PEANUT BUTTER, JELLY, RICE, and JUICE
Sandwich Ministry: Every fourth Sunday of the month we make 50 bag lunches for homeless working men who are staying at the Guest House Homeless Shelter in Milwaukee.
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
Whether they are called Prayer Shawls, Comfort Shawls, Peace Shawls, or Mantles, etc., the shawl maker begins with prayers and blessings for the recipient. The intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. Upon completion, a final blessing is offered before the shawl is sent on its way. Some recipients have continued the kindness by making a shawl and passing it onto someone in need. Thus, the blessing ripples from person-to-person, with both the giver and receiver feeling the unconditional embrace of a sheltering, mothering God!

PROJECT KENYA CHARITY, Inc.
New Hope is the primary sponsor of Project Kenya Charity Inc. New Hope has sent numerous missionaries to Kenya to assist villages with electricity, water management, construction of a church, school, and community center, along with providing medical supplies, nurses, bible studies, and teachers. Project Kenya has made substantial differences in the lives of so many Kenyan people.
Please go to www.project-kenya.org for detailed information on how you can be a missionary or sponsor of Project Kenya Charity.
SUPPORT THE TROOPS MISSION
Two to three times a year we collect names of those currently serving overseas in the military. Packages are sent from own congregation to these service members.
Currently, UCC Minister, Rev. Deris Rice is serving as a chaplain for the US Army and is stationed in Iraq. We are collecting items to send to the troops he serves as Chaplain.
