Our Ministries :
Worship Team
Mission
The mission of the Worship team is to
enlist the Holy Spirit in the planning of worship. Through prayer and
reflection, all areas of the total worship experience are examined.
Function
- Membership is done by pastoral
appointment with approval from the Consistory.
- Meetings are held quarterly.
- The pastor provides the “church year
calendar” from the denomination, which provides a theme and scripture
readings for every Sunday of the year.
- Scripture is read and reflected
upon. Ideas are shared for theme, children’s sermon, sanctuary
decorations, and music (this includes hymns, instrumental and vocal –
Sunday school children, solos, duets, etc., and/or choir).
