- Responsible for ordering and distributing curriculum as well as
teaching.
- In charge of
mission projects, fundraising and the Sunday School account.
- Recruiting teachers, substitute teaching, coordinating the Christmas
Program and running the snack schedule.

Sunday School
The current
enrollment of the Sunday School is approximately 70 children – ages
range from 3 years through confirmation (13/14 years). Classes meet on
Sunday mornings the children start in worship and then are excused after
children's time. Sunday school will conclude at 11:30.
The
groups are divided into Pre-school, 5 year old Kindergarten, First and
Second grade; Third and Fourth grade, and Fifth grade and Sixth grade.
Seventh grade confirmation class is taught by Brydie Hill, Christian
Education Director and 8th grade
confirmation classes are taught by
Rev. Jim every other Monday evening. There are 2 teachers for the
lower grades and they alternate Sundays by making their own schedules
with their partner. Helpers for the lower grades are utilized and more
helpers are always welcome.
Offerings from the
children before Sunday School are used for mission work, primarily one
boy that the Sunday School “sponsors.”
The curriculum and
other costs are paid for by general church accounts.
Confirmation
This is a two year
Christian Education Enrichment Program for 7th and 8th
grade students. Its focus is to help young people to become more aware
of the reality of faith in their lives.
Nursery
We believe the most precious asset of the church are the little gifts
God gives and entrusts to us. Our Nursery Ministry is focused upon
extending care, compassion, and love to our children. Nursery is
provide during regularly scheduled church services for ages under 3
years old.
